How To Prepare

Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning for approximately four weeks before treatment. Your provider may also recommend temporarily discontinuing retinoids, exfoliating acids, or other active skincare products. If you have a history of cold sores, let your provider know before treatment, as antiviral medication may be recommended. Arrive for your appointment with clean skin and without makeup.

Before treatment, a topical numbing cream may be applied for comfort.
